Following the 10-year success of their fully modular insulated Ralyester Range, A-Belco Engineering has launched a new modular switchboard system that promises to meet all LV distribution requirements up to 650V.

A-Belco Engineering, formerly BALS Engineering, brings over 50 years experience to this new range which offers complete flexibility in the design, manufacture, assembly and installation of special build projects.

The form 4 type 2 industrial Modular Switchboard System (MSS) is available in a wide variety of modules and ratings to suit any frame. Incoming module options include devices up to 800A whilst outgoing module options include fused combination switches, MCCBs, MCBs, Fuse boards and metering. Voltmeters, ammeters and KWH meters are also available as standard.

The MSS Range offers wall mounting or floor standing options with front access. Busbar modules are horizontal enabling future extension of the system and are up to 800A with a maximum fault rating of 20kA for 1 second.

A range of isolators and fuseswitches from 32A to 400A triple or four-pole is available, with top or bottom cable entries providing flexible and bespoke designs to suit individual specifications.

The MSS Range from A-Belco Engineering offers a lower cost alternative to standard cubicle switchboards and is available either as a complete factory build solution or self assembly offering the installer the facility to build the system on-site, overcoming potential access problems and allowing quick and uncomplicated handling.

Fully compliant with the latest British and European standards the MSS Range conforms to BS EN60439, offers IP54 ingress protection and is manufactured in Mild Steel as standard.

A number of additional options, accessories and finishes are also available including a full range of connections, busbar jointing, spare gland plates, cable spreader boxes and RAL colours.
