Formerly Reyrolle Industrial Accessories in 1947 and later BALs Engineering, the

A-Belco Group now markets a wide array of product ranges under four distinct business units: A-Belco Engineering, Cortem UK, Scame UK and MEP Solutions.

The past two years has seen significant growth from the Group both in size and product offering with venture partnerships formed and new products launched. With the core competence being enclosures systems, either in standard enclosures or complete engineering solutions in the design and manufacture of power distribution systems – the A-Belco Group has a significant presence in the specialist enclosure market today.

The A-Belco Group offers a complete service in the design, manufacture and assembly (including all drilling and wiring) of enclosures, terminal boxes and distribution units for hazardous area, industrial, commercial and rail applications with a team of experienced electrical and mechanical engineers at the Northumberland plant.

Cortem UK, an independent compani in association with Cortem S.p.A, is the division primarily operating in the hazardous area marketplace.

Although the Cortem S.p.A brand has been recognized in the industry as a key player for over 30 years, Cortem UK now has established a wider presence in the design, manufacture and assembly of specialist hazardous area products for Zones 1 and 2 areas, EEx d, EEx e, EEx ia and EEx n applications.
