NEWS>September 2005 - New Trackside Heavy Duty IP66 Cable, Termination and Junction boxes

A-Belco Engineering, formerly BALs Industrial Accessories and a leading manufacturer of commercial and industrial switchgear, have launched a fully comprehensive range of heavy duty weatherproof cable, termination and junction boxes for trackside applications.

The IP66 316L stainless steel enclosures are manufactured with a high level of functionality, protect against corrosion, dust and harsh weather conditions and are designed to withstand rigorous trackside applications.

With over 200 variant sizes available, this extensive range can be supplied off the shelf for a quick turnaround with terminals and holes pre-drilled for cable entries, all according to the individual customer specification. The small box range available from A-Belco is ideal for rail points heating, hot and cold probe termination. The range can also be used as low voltage junction boxes with up to six 110V or 240V sockets.

Design features include a one-piece polyurethane gasket, removable hinged door, earth studs, and optional padlock hasp, gland plates and mounting plate. Bespoke sizes and designs are also available upon request.
