RAIL>Switch Points Heating Cubicles


The fully automatic Switch Points Heating Control equipment from A-Belco Engineering complies with the Network Rail RT/E/S/40045 Issue 4 specification and is suitable for installation in any rail zone.

The ICELERT 407MŽ Control System from Findlay Irvine, approved by Network Rail, is incorporated within the A-Belco design and responds to air temperature and precipitation as a means of determining weather conditions. The system is activated at a pre-selected temperature range to ensure the switch points are clear of ice and snow, increasing safety levels and reducing train delays and long term costs.

Trackside Telemetry Units also offer optional remote monitoring for complete control over system operation, monitoring and testing.
