New Cert Extends Cortem UK CTB Range

Cortem UK, a leading manufacturer of electrical equipment for hazardous area applications, have obtained additional certification for specialist applications from Epsilon, extending their service offering on the CTB range of terminal boxes.

The ATEX EEx nA certification for Zone 2, T3 Gas applications offers an ambient temperature range of -50ºC to +60ºC and includes approval for low voltage busbar systems.

The IP66 CTB terminal boxes are SIRA certified to EEx e and EEx ia for use within gas and dust environments, Zones 1, 2, 21 and 22.

Available in highly corrosion resistant 316L stainless steel or mild steel pre-galvanised and painted, the CTB terminal boxes, come with 0 to 4 gland plate options and a choice of horizontal or vertical terminals.
